On the evening of October 26, 2010, the U.S. Green Building Council Central Florida Chapter will once again host its Annual LEEDership Dinner at the beautiful new Hilton Orlando. We are thrilled that our annual gala event will be bigger and better than ever. Formal dinner proceedings include the presentation of the 2010 LEEDership Awards, the Central Florida Chapter's awards program recognizing outstanding projects and achievements by businesses, community leaders, and chapter volunteers.

Joel Rogers to Deliver Keynote address at 2010 Leadership Dinner

Joel Rogers is a nationally recognized authority on the role of clean energy and clean tech in economic recovery and the creation of green jobs.  He is professor of law, political    science, and sociology at the University of Wisconsin, and director of the Center on Wisconsin Strategy (COWS), a research center and project laboratory for progressive state and local policy, and co-founder of the Apollo Alliance.  “We felt Joel was a great fit to deliver a timely, relevant message on the top of the emerging green economy .  We are hopeful that his message especially resonates with our government and economic evelopment communities given state and local unemployment, the tenuous job situation on the space coast, and our regions potential for developing clean energy technologies.”
